The Rehab Together Program specifically helps individuals to receive grants and resources to position themselves in a medical detox or inpatient rehabilitation program. Assistance is determined on a per-need basis to provide partial or complete funding of costs. The goal is not to deny treatment due to a lack of insurance or required finances. Charity Together, Inc. will also offer placement services to United States-based rehabilitation facilities, including travel expenses, if needed.
When a person develops a dependency on substances and is seeking medical treatment, the major question of "How do I pay for this?" can stop or delay needed help. Scholarships can help bridge the gap to help make rehab more affordable, so that those who qualify, can get the help they need and get the treatment needed by deducting some or in some circumstances, the full amount of the price of treatment. This is helpful as it encourages support and financial assistance for those needing recovery. Scholarships may be available at select facilities, they need to be contacted individually to see what is available, making this a tough task. Charity Together is helping to grant scholarships to assist with this hardship as well as working as a liaison to find resources available. The Rehab Together program offers scholarships that are awarded to both medical detox and inpatient treatment facilities. Scholarships may be awarded to those who require special treatment that insurance will not cover, or under insured, those who have exhausted other payment options and those who are dedicated to recovery.
The idea of financing detox and treatment may seem daunting, especially if there will be the battles of withdrawal. Charity Together has tools to reinforce you with financing your recovery. Remember that treatment is not one-size-fits all. There are many options available to get the correct care needed. Researching the right treatment centers will help so that you feel nourished and supported the whole way.
Why is it important to get help to detox?
Detoxification means to naturally remove toxins from the body by use of the liver, kidneys, intestines and lymphatic systems. The purpose of detox is to safely manage withdrawal symptoms when someone stops taking drugs or alcohol. This action should be supervised with withdrawal management by a medical professional. Everyone goes through detox differently, depending on the type of drug and how long it was used and can take days to months to go through the withdrawal period. Going "cold turkey" can be extremely dangerous because it can lead to serious issues due to severe dehydration or seizures, making supervision necessary. Withdrawal management may take place at a hospital, inpatient or outpatient treatment center. Detox is the first part of addiction treatment. Detox alone may be insufficient for a successful recovery making treatment afterwords vital. This can be through inpatient or outpatient facilities, counseling, or support groups.
Benefits of outpatient treatment
Outpatient treatment is a very popular option. It does not require the individual to live at the facility full- time. This method is beneficial when recovery is sought after, but they are not able to commit to an inpatient facility, where they will reside during treatment. Outpatient treatment gives patients more flexibility to maintain previous relations and commitments towards work, family, friends and education while getting the required treatment.
Outpatient treatment does not always have a set length of time as it varies on the type of addiction being treated and the individual progress and participation of treatment. Outpatient programs typically run from 30 to 90 days and above.
Outpatient treatment has been found to be most effective when individuals have a safe and supportive living situation and are in good overall health.
Reaching out to an addiction specialist to get their feedback and recommendation is an option to help determine which type of treatment is best.
Outside Resources:
The Restart Together Program focuses on direct outpatient care, treatment needs and housing such as sober living or halfway homes while receiving indirect care. Many people leave programs or fail to complete aftercare programs due to personal or family-related financial struggles; this program intends to fill the void and reverse this outcome.
The Recovery Together Program is for long-term recovery needs. The primary focus is on therapy and counseling services as well as self-help resources, such as financial management resources, educational resources, GED or continued education, employment readiness resources, and to help match clients with mentoring or volunteering opportunities. These are all necessary to stay on track for long-term recovery. This program will bridge the gap where insurance coverage is not provided, or a lack of insurance benefits exists. This program includes a focus on both family and patient needs.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
